What matters most to you? When you pass into the other world, what do you want people to say about you?
Do you want them to say that you looked great, had a lovely home, had a respectable job?
What do you want the themes of your eulogy to be centered on? Most of the time we are so busy getting through life that we forget to have a life and be what we most want to be. We are so busy trying to get ahead and not fall behind that well we forgot ourselves.
Now, think. Your best friend, your mom, your sister gets up behind the podium at your funeral, what does he/she say about you? “You were kind.” “You were loving” “You were…..” What do you want to be known for?
What word do you want to sum up your life? If you know what you want people to say then you know how to live day to day. if you want people to say you were loving when you pass then be loving now. Do loving things for your friends, strangers, neighbors, etc. If you want people to say you were kind, be kind now- right now.
What is the theme of your eulogy?
