Stop Making People Conscious

I am noticing the consciousness  movement is having some nasty effects.

People are making it their jobs to make other people, unwilling folks more conscious.

It is not your job to let your friends, lovers, workout buddies know what is not working for them, what they are unaware of, or their true motivations.   To do , only puts many people on the defensive and makes you unpopular. Yes, I know you are trying to help, but are you?

Many people do not want to be conscious and will fight you to stay that way.  They would rather stay in excuses and continue to lie to themselves and to others than to face off with themselves and their ego.

In truth,  I think when you try to make someone else aware of his/her unconscious you can easily fall into unconsciousness yourself. Their reaction to your well intended feedback can trigger you into becoming defensive and then you become unconscious.

When someone is unconscious with you: forgets to call, forgets to say thank-you or is just downright rude do you loose your ability to be present and compassionate?  If so you have become unconsciousness and to move from unconsciousness only can create drama.  Instead of letting them now what they just did that they are unaware of,  put your attention back on yourself and refind your center.  Stop trying to change another into a more conscious being, instead grow your consciousness in the face of their unconsciousness.
